OPC/PC briefing 2026-2

Please upload a new copy of the license after completion of the PC via the Crewdox App before leaving the simulator center.

Instructions: Make a copy of the frontside of the license and place it beside the backside. Take a photo in the Crewdox App. Upload ONE photo showing BOTH sides of your license. Choose record “License“. Date to be selected: issue of license. For more instruction see “Crewdox Ipad application”


OBS: minimum one simulated CATII in the aircraft has to be performed before doing an OPC. This approach shall be noted in your logbook. Please show this to your examiner.


Other than Swedish EASA licence?

Contact your Examiner in good time before your LPC to check if a notification to NAA is needed. If you have other license than Swedish your responsible to print applicable forms and of making sure your examiner has notified relevant NAA according “EASA examiner difference document, EDD”



Session Briefing

Make sure applicable documents are up to date in Crewdox, all CBT´s and tests are completed, and finally bring the following to the simulator session:

  • valid license
  • valid medical
  • ID/badge
  • Logbook
  • Passport

Operational Subjects:

  • LVTO RVR 125m
  • Emergency Evacuation
  • Operations Manual Test

Technical Training Subjects

  • Electrical – DSC.24
  • Ice and Rain Protection – DSC.30
  • Indication and Recording system – DCS.31
  • Lights – DSC.33

The objective of this OPC is to check standards during LVO. The following core competencies will be useful during the LOFT scenario:

  • Communication
  • Leadership & Teamwork
  • Problem solving & Decision making

Session Overview

The session contains mandatory items for PC and OPC including low visibility according OM D 2.1.10

The following applies for the session: Expect cabin crew and pax to be onboard until other info is given by examiner. Regard this session as a normal flight and base your decisions on that. I.e you don´t need to ask the examiner if a failed eng should be restarted. it´s your decision. If emergency situation: advise intended approach/runway to ATC.

Loft scenario: The LOFT scenario is based on a flight between LOWS and ESSA and will focus on procedure for normal operations and decision making regarding failure.

Briefing package shall be downloaded in advance. Both pilot shall be ready to demonstrate load sheet and performance calculations during briefing.

  • 55 adults / 55 pcs of bags 640 KG
  • Aircraft SE-MKB, STD Catering, Crew 2+2
  • Expect cabin crew and PAX to be onboard until other info is given by examiner.
  • Crew shall regard this session as a normal flight and base their decisions on that. I.e they do not need to ask the examiner if a failed ENG should be restarted. It is their decision.

Briefing package may be downloaded in advance. Both pilot shall be ready to demonstrate load sheet and performance calculations during briefing using SPS and Aviobook/manual loadsheet as preferred.

Pilot Presentation
This may be conducted as a general briefing, covering the system as a hole, or a detailed description of a specific area within the subject.
Example: system layout, downgrades or memory items.

  • Briefing subject for the Commander: Indication and recording system DSC.31
  • Briefing subject for the First Officer: Electrical DSC.24

Acceptable Performance

The following limits shall apply corrected to make allowance for turbulent conditions and the handling qualities and performance of the aeroplane used:

  • operate the aeroplane within its limitations;
  • complete all manoeuvres with smoothness and accuracy;
  • exercise good judgement and airmanship;
  • apply aeronautical knowledge;
  • maintain control of the aeroplane at all times in such manner that the successful outcome of a procedure or manoeuvre is never in doubt;
  • understand and apply crew co-ordination and incapacitation procedures;
  • communicate effectively with the other crew member
